At Cupp, specialty coffee is at the heart of everything we do. We work with high-quality coffees from passionate roasters and carefully select beans based on flavour, balance and character. From fruity and exotic to smooth, sweet and chocolatey, every coffee on our menu has its own unique story to tell.

The term specialty coffee refers to the highest quality coffees in the world. Before coffee can be called specialty coffee, it is carefully tasted and graded on a 100-point scale. Only coffees scoring above 80 points earn the title of specialty coffee.

At Cupp, we love to keep things fresh and seasonal. Our house espresso changes throughout the year, we regularly feature new filter coffees and every month we collaborate with different guest roasters from the specialty coffee scene. This way, every visit offers something new to discover.

Which Cupp location is closest to Utrecht city centre?

Cupp Coffeebar Nobelstraat is our closest location to Utrecht city centre and the Dom Tower. Located in one of Utrecht’s most lively and cosy streets, it’s the perfect stop for specialty coffee, breakfast or brunch while exploring the city.

Looking for a quieter local atmosphere? Cupp Burgemeester Reigerstraat in Utrecht East and Cupp Kanaalweg by the Merwedekanaal each offer their own unique neighbourhood vibe.

Do I need to make a reservation?

Reservations at Cupp are possible from two people and up, but they’re not always necessary. You’re always welcome to walk in and find a spot for specialty coffee, breakfast or brunch at one of our Utrecht locations.

Planning to visit during a busy weekend morning or coming with a larger group? We do recommend making a reservation to make sure we have a table ready for you.

Can I work from Cupp?

Yes! Cupp is a great place to work, study or enjoy a slow coffee break in Utrecht. Our coffee bars offer a relaxed atmosphere, specialty coffee and plenty of breakfast and lunch options throughout the day.

For guests who would like to work from Cupp with a laptop, we offer dedicated flex workspaces designed for focus and comfort. To keep our coffee bars welcoming for everyone, we work with a laptop policy and ask a small fee of €2.50 per hour for the use of these designated work spots.

Whether you’re answering emails with a cappuccino or settling in for a productive morning with brunch and specialty coffee, you’re always welcome at Cupp.
